Liberty Occupational Therapy is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and embrace greater freedom in daily life.

Marleen Boom is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy and six years of experience supporting people from all walks of life.
Passionate about helping her clients live more independently and confidently in their own homes, Marleen draws on her expertise in assistive technology, complex home modifications, functional capacity assessments and animal-assisted therapy. She takes pride in finding practical, client-centred solutions that make a real difference to everyday life.
Based in Bunbury and working throughout the South West, Marleen works predominantly with NDIS participants. She values building strong relationships with her clients and focuses on helping them achieve their goals – whether that means developing new skills, improving physical and emotional wellbeing, adapting their environment, or enhancing their overall independence and quality of life.
Marleen’s journey into Occupational Therapy is deeply personal. After experiencing the transformative impact of working with an Occupational Therapist herself, she was inspired to pursue the profession. Since then, she has gained wide-ranging experience across residential aged care, schools, and community-based settings.
An active member of her local community, Marleen also contributes her expertise to the City of Bunbury’s Co-Design Access Panel (CoDAP), helping ensure the city’s buildings, facilities and open spaces are welcoming and accessible for everyone.
